Scheduling Coordinator
Molly Young recently joined e Systems and plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our clients. She focuses on coordinating schedules, supporting our technicians, and making sure client needs are addressed promptly and efficiently.
Before joining e Systems, Molly spent 15 years in the resort industry managing front office and housekeeping departments, where she was deeply involved in delivering exceptional guest experiences. That background translates seamlessly into her work today, where attention to detail, communication, and customer satisfaction are central to everything she does.
Originally from Westchester County, New York, Molly has called the South Carolina coast home for several years, living in Myrtle Beach before relocating to Charleston in 2024. Outside of work, she enjoys social salsa and bachata dancing, cooking, floral design, traveling with friends, wine tasting, and spending time at home with her cats. A fun fact clients may not know: Molly is obsessed with butterflies and was once one of the top female bowlers in her local league and tournaments.

Brandon Neff
Technical Engineer
Brandon Neff joined e Systems three months ago and brings more than a decade of hands- on IT experience to the team. While his role continues to evolve, Brandon’s focus remains consistent: helping people solve problems and keeping technology running smoothly for our clients.
He began his IT career in printer repair while attending Trident Technical College at night, eventually working his way into an IT Manager role before joining another local managed service provider in Charleston. Brandon holds an Associate’s degree in Network Systems Management and multiple industry certifications, including A+ and Network+, with his Security+ certification currently in progress.
A Charleston native from Summerville, Brandon enjoys the people, climate, and overall vibe of the Lowcountry. Outside of work, his time is largely spent with his family and newborn baby, and when he gets a chance to unwind, he’s a passionate gamer.

Donn Ilagan
Operations Manager
Donn Ilagan serves as e Systems’ Operations Manager, helping keep the company organized, responsive, and running smoothly. His focus is consistent: supporting the team, solving problems, and making sure clients receive timely, professional service.
Before joining e Systems, Donn spent 26 years in the law firm industry in operations and IT management. Having been on the client side of managed IT services, he understands how important fast response times and clear communication are, especially when issues are urgent. That experience shapes how he approaches his work and helps guide the level of service e Systems provides.
Born and raised in Charleston, Donn values the people, culture, and character of the Lowcountry. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, family, friends, and his dog. He is also an avid golfer, enjoys cooking, and has a longtime interest in drawing.

Jeff Newell
IT Manager
Jeff Newell has been with e Systems for five years and serves as the company’s IT Manager, overseeing internal systems and acting as a virtual CIO (vCIO) for clients. He works closely with organizations to align their technology with business goals, helping ensure systems are secure, scalable, and supporting day-to-day operations effectively.
Before joining e Systems, Jeff built a diverse background that includes retail experience and a variety of corporate IT positions, including leadership roles. That blend of technical expertise and operational insight allows him to approach challenges from both a business and technology perspective.
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Jeff appreciates Charleston’s balance of small-town feel and growing city energy, as well as the strong sense of connection among local businesses. Outside of work, he enjoys woodworking, spending time creating projects by hand, and his newborn son.

Brandon Callahan
Project Manager | Technical Engineer
Brandon Callahan has been with e Systems for two years is a Project Manager and Senior Technician ,supporting clients with day-to-day IT needs and larger projects. He is known for building strong client relationships and working closely with management to ensure projects are completed smoothly and successfully.
Before transitioning into IT, Brandon was classically trained as an HVAC technician, a background that sharpened his problem-solving skills and hands-on approach. He especially enjoys helping clients navigate complex technology issues and takes pride in making people feel at ease when problems feel urgent or overwhelming.
Originally from Prospect Park, Pennsylvania — just outside of Philadelphia —Brandon has come to appreciate the beauty of the Lowcountry, particularly the views at sunrise and sunset over Charleston’s bridges. Outside of work, he stays active as a longtime member of the Charleston Hurling Club, enjoys learning guitar, skateboarding, painting, paddleboarding, tending to houseplants, and spending time at the beach. Above all, he values time with his four-year-old son, Benjamin. A fun fact clients might not know: Brandon can juggle while riding a bike.

Greg Jolley
Technical Engineer
Greg Jolley has been with e Systems for five years and serves as a Technical Engineer, specializing in physical installations, onsite repairs, and hands on system work. He plays a key role in making sure equipment is installed correctly, issues are resolved efficiently, and clients feel confident in the technology supporting their business.
Before joining e Systems, Greg spent seven years working with a local internet service provider, gaining extensive experience in network infrastructure and field installations. That background allows him to approach each project with precision, adaptability, and a practical understanding of how systems perform in real world environments.
A North Charleston native, Greg appreciates the balance Charleston offers between professional opportunity and quality of life, especially being close to the water. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, discovering new restaurants, camping, and spending time on the boat whenever he can.

Damian Chavez
Technical Engineer
Damian Chavez has been with e Systems for nearly two years and works as a Technical Engineer, supporting clients with reliable, secure IT systems and day to day technical needs. His background in highly regulated and mission critical environments brings a steady, detail oriented approach to his work.
Before joining e Systems, Damian served four years in the United States Marine Corps, where he maintained and supported secure IT systems for military operations. He later provided support for healthcare IT systems at MUSC, gaining experience in environments where accuracy, security, and responsiveness are essential.
Originally from California, Damian now calls the Charleston area home. His professional experience reflects a strong foundation in disciplined problem solving and dependable support — qualities that clients rely on when their systems matter most.

Ashley Taylor
Technical Engineer
Ashley Taylor recently joined e Systems as a Field Technician and supports clients with hands-on, on-site IT assistance. She brings a strong technical foundation and a client-first mindset to her role, helping ensure systems are working reliably and issues are resolved efficiently.
Ashley earned her BS in Information Technology from the University of Kentucky and began her career as a Remote Support Engineer for a managed service provider, where she supported clients around the world. That experience inspired her to move into field-based IT work, where she could work directly with clients and technology in real-world environments.
Originally from Beaufort, South Carolina, Ashley enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, CB, when she’s not working. A fun fact clients might not know: while attending the University of Kentucky, she made an annual tradition of going to the Kentucky Derby, always betting on the horse with the funkiest name.

Daniel Bennett
Technical Engineer
Daniel Bennett has been with e Systems for over two years and brings more than 15 years of experience in the IT field. As a Technical Engineer, he supports clients both on site and remotely, assisting with everything from basic computer setups to more complex technical troubleshooting. He is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), reflecting his training and expertise in networking, connectivity, security, and system troubleshooting.
Before joining e Systems, Daniel held a variety of roles including IT Manager, Senior Mac Technical Advisor, and Information Systems Technician. This diverse background has given him a well-rounded skill set and the ability to adapt to a wide range of technical environments and client needs.
Born and raised in Charleston, Daniel enjoys working throughout the Lowcountry and values the opportunity to meet new people and build strong client relationships. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing in both fresh and saltwater and unwinding with video games.

Woods Glover
Technical Engineer
Woods Glover has been a full-time employee with e Systems for over a year. While in high school he worked part time for e Systems and was the first graduate of e Systems Academy.
Before joining e Systems, Woods worked in landscaping, an xperience that helped build a strong work ethic and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
At e Systems, he enjoys the team atmosphere and being part of a collaborative environment where learning and growth are encouraged. He assists with security cameras, switches, laptops, servers, and other essential systems that keep client environments running smoothly.
A Charleston native, Woods appreciates the Lowcountry climate and enjoys spending his time outdoors. Outside of work, he can often be found boating, fishing or hunting.

Bill Burgess
Technical Engineer
Bill Burgess has been with e Systems for several years and works as a Field Technician, supporting clients with hands-on, on-site IT needs. His work includes new computer setups, printing and scanning support, phone system setup, and diagnosing network issues. He focuses not only on solving the problem at hand, but also on identifying steps that help prevent issues from recurring.
Before joining e Systems, Bill worked for a local software company in its education support division, assisting users of a comprehensive school management system. He also brings experience from the manufacturing sector, where he worked in a logistics warehouse helping reduce friction between the warehouse and factory operations. That background gives him a practical, process-oriented approach to troubleshooting.
Originally from Connecticut, Bill appreciates Charleston’s warm, dry winters and has developed a strong interest in local history. Outside of work, he lives with three cats and enjoys learning new things about Charleston’s past. What he enjoys most about his role at e Systems is the opportunity to make someone’s day better by solving their problem.

Trevor Kirkpatrick
Customer Happiness Manager
Trevor Kirkpatrick has been with e Systems for three and a half years and serves as the company’s Customer Happiness Manager. He focuses on customer relationships, coordinating technician schedules, and supporting the team’s day-to-day operations to ensure clients receive timely, thoughtful service.
Trevor brings a strong technical foundation to his role, with four years of IT experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the College of Charleston. Having worked in nearly every position at e Systems, he is uniquely skilled at translating technical jargon into clear, understandable language for clients—helping bridge the gap between technology and people.
Born in Berlin, Germany, Trevor has called Charleston home for the past 30 years and believes the people are what make the area truly special. Outside of work, he enjoys playing percussion, performing improv at Theatre 99, and playing board games with friends. What he enjoys most about his work is hearing that e Systems made someone’s day a little better.

Kai Madlé
Technical Engineer
Kai Michael Madlé has been with e Systems for three years and serves as a Senior Technical Specialist, handling most remote support requests for clients. He is often the first point of contact for troubleshooting complex issues, helping resolve problems efficiently while keeping systems running smoothly.
Kai brings an unusually broad technical background to the team. Before joining e Systems, he served as Head of IT for the North Charleston campus of ECPI College. Prior to that, he spent 16 years working offshore in the oil and gas exploration field as a technician, and earlier in his career worked as a Tier 3 Systems Engineer for AT&T. This diverse experience allows him to approach technical challenges with both depth and adaptability.
Born in Vienna, Austria, Kai immigrated to the United States as a child, growing up in San Diego, California, and later traveling extensively around the world. Outside of work, he spends most of his time with his four children. A fun fact clients might not know: Kai dreams of one day setting up a blacksmith shop as a hobby, an interest he’s had since

Matt Carter
Technical Engineer
Matt Carter has been with e Systems for over two years and works as a Technical Engineer, supporting clients with data transfers, new user and system setups, and server integrations and migrations. He plays a key role in ensuring transitions are handled smoothly while maintaining strong client relationships throughout the process.
Before joining e Systems, Matt gained early IT experience working in a help desk role while earning an associate’s degree in computer science. His responsibilities included computer setups, password resets, and basic network troubleshooting — foundational work that helped build his technical confidence and attention to detail. At e Systems, he enjoys the variety of work across clients and environments, as well as the collaborative culture between the team and the clients they support.
A Charleston native, Matt appreciates the area’s mild winters and the diversity of people drawn to the Lowcountry. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, playing video games, spending time with family, playing pool, and building systems for friends and family. Vinny Varbero serves as a Technical Engineer, supporting clients both remotely and on-site across a wide range of technology needs. From setting up new devices and user accounts to installing network and camera systems, Vinny brings a flexible, hands-on approach to solving problems and keeping things running smoothly.
Before joining e Systems, he worked with Dorchester School District 2 and Geek Squad, building a well-rounded background in both technical support and customer service.
Originally from Middle Island, New York, Vinny has embraced life in Charleston, especially the warm weather, relaxed pace, and Southern hospitality. Outside of work, you’ll likely find him working out at the gym, spending time with his wife, dogs, and family, or catching a game.

AJ Ivey
Technical Engineer
AJ Ivey has been part of the team for over four years as a Technical Engineer. He leads onsite support for one of our larger clients, serving as a go-to resource for technical needs and helping clients stay up and running without disruption.
His work spans user access and permissions, hardware setup and repair, and software troubleshooting, often stepping in as the first point of contact when issues arise and guiding them through to resolution.
Before joining e Systems, AJ worked with Geek Squad as both a Consultation Agent and Advanced Repair Agent, where he developed a strong foundation in hands-on support and client-focused problem solving.
A Charleston native, AJ enjoys the connection to the water and the natural beauty of the Lowcountry. Outside of work, he spends time with his partner and their cats, explores interests like 3D printing and gaming, and creates board gaming content on YouTube and Twitch.
